Bulgarian split squat primarily works on overall quads and glutes. This may vary based on your body position.

Steps to do bulgarian split squat with dumbbells:

  1. Place rear foot on platform and front foot forward

  2. Hold dumbbell in each hand, letting them hand at the sides

  3. Break at hip and knee to lower body. Keep weight distributed tot he heel and mid-foot, maintaining a straight back.

  4. Lower until thigh is parallel with the floor

  5. Drive from the heel and extend the hip and knee to return to the starting position

  6. Repeat for reps
