What is bracing? How do we brace?

Bracing is a technique that we used in almost all weight lifting exercises. It's the ability to keep tension throughout the torso to ensure that our body is stable and won't collapse during performing the act (3 Essential Cues for Bracing in Heavy Lifts | BarBend, 2021). In simple words, engaging your core muscles during lifting. Not only does it help our body balance, but it also helps reduce the strain on your neck and lower back as those 2 parts are playing the biggest role when we weight lift.
