Overhead Press

Overhead press mainly targets shoulder blades, upper back and chest muscles.

Steps to do overhead press with dumbbells/ barbell:

  1. Start with barbell at slightly below chest level

  2. With arms at shoulder width, unrack the bar and step backwards

  3. Flexing the glutes and keeping the core tight, push the barbell upwards over the head as you exhale

  4. Lower the bar towards the starting position as you inhale

  5. Repeat for reps
